Louis Vuitton RTW Fall '13

Front Row Favorites: Elizabeth Olsen, Lily Collins, Naomi Watts, Jessica Chastain, Jefferson Hack, and Jamie Hince

Looks From the Runway: "All dressed up and nowhere to go" - Marc Jacobs. The show took place in a upscale Louis Vuitton looking motel. Models would come out of the faux door, do a lap and return from where they came from. This season Marc did a mix of eras; he said "... some Gloria Swanson and a lot of Hollywood." The show reminded me of people with a lot of money with nothing to do but dress in luxurious clothes. Kate Moss was a good surprise as she walked for the finale.
There were a lot of silk nightgowns and slips covered with the trending mannish coat for the season as a cover. With feathers and lace added to the hems and arm cuffs, it made for a more showy look. I loved the belted blazers with short bottoms that made for a pant-less look. Overall, you could see a resemblance in his own line shown in New York with the relaxed, street pajama look.

Handbag Favorites: Mixes of fur, feathers, and different animal skins

Mulberry RTW Spring 2013

Ever since I left London this summer I couldn't wait to see London Fashion Week. I can honestly say I see London as the top fashion city in the world right now. With the Olympics, Kate Middleton, and all the pop culture coming out of England it is hard to ignore what they are bringing to the surface.
Mulberry is one of my many favorite London shows to always watch. The brand has always had such a fun, youthful side and this season was nothing but that. Inspired by "ice lollies" the Emma Hill's color palette consisted of light mints, tangerines, and marigolds; along with classic black and white pieces placed towards the end. The style was 60's inspired with flower prints and findings.
Here are my favorite moments on and off the catwalk:
Alexa Chung with her "Alexa" bag and wearing a Mulberry shirt from S/S 13
Lana Del Rey carrying the Mulberry bag named after her
Olivia Palermo carrying the Mulberry Alexa bag

The Midas Touch for British Vogue

I can't think of a better way to celebrate the Olympics in London than to have a Midas (golden) Touch themed shoot for the September issue of British Vogue. Some of the biggest names in the modeling industry in England teamed together to wear some of the most glamorous bespoke gowns!

Kate Moss's Vogue Spread in the September Issue!

We have all been waiting for this and it has finally been released. The gorgeous Kate Moss's wedding pictures have been released in Vogue's September issue (remember the September issue is always the biggest issue of the year). Angelic and romantic are definitely the words I would use to describe the wedding. From vintage Rolls-Royces to soft colors, the whole event gave to her "Great Gatsby" like feel. In these photos you see designers like Christian Louboutin and stars like Jude Law. The whole story is lovely to read and you get to hear from both Kate Moss and John Galliano (the wedding dress designer). At 37, you wonder where Kate Moss's career where will be headed next...

Here are some of my favorite photos from the album:

Kate Moss Deciding to Write an Autobiography

I am not sure who is more excited than I am about this, but I love reading autobiographies! She is living such a life that people have been begging to hear about and finally after a little push from her husband she is deciding to do it. I am sure it will be a while before a release date but hopefully I can be patient enough to wait!

Kate Moss's Wedding Dress Designer Revealed

It has finally been reported by multiple sources that Kate Moss's wedding dress was designed by John Galliano and her new husband in YSL. As most recall, he was arrested a couple months ago from making anti-Semitic comments at a Paris bar. He was fired from Christian Dior... so lets just say this definitely helps his image.
