Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart on the Cover of Interview Magazine

Interview is one of my favorite magazines to look at because of there artistic take on things. They not only focus on fashion but art, music, and culture really giving the full effect of the industry that I love so much. With the new movie Snow White and the Huntsman coming out soon the magazine featured Kristin Stewart and Charlize Theron. Sometimes I am not so in love with Stewart, but this is by far my favorite photo shoot of her and I have to say she really does look mature. Charlize Theron, of course, looks stunning in all the shots, shot by Mikael Jansson. With the actresses seeming to rule the red carpet lately, stylist Karl Templer gave them a bad-ass clothes to shoot in giving the pictures an awesome dark aura.

Stewart is wearing a gorgeous Lynn Ban necklace with RJ Graziano earrings and on Charlize is a Nina Ricci necklace... that I'm slightly obsessed with.
Kristen Stewart wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo top with a Dries Van Noten coat. The belt is Yves Saint Laurent and the clutch is Valentino.
Charlize Theron wearing a beautiful Tom Ford with Calvin Klein collection shoes; the coat in her hand is Belstaff and her ring is Lynn Ban
Kristen is wearing Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci (dress, slip, scarf, belt, gloves); the coat is Maison Martin Margiela
Charlize is wearing a Tom Ford top with a Carine Gilson slip, and the coat is gorgeous Lanvin; the clutch is Bottega Veneta with Calvin Klein collection boots
Kristen is wearing Alexander Wang jacket and pants with a Belstaff blouse and a Carine Gilson slip top; to accessorize she has a Valentino clutch and Yves Saint Laurent shoes.
Charlize is wearing Bottega Veneta with a Gucci belt with an added NY vintage buckle. To accessorize she is wearing a Yves Saint Laurent cuff and a Salvatore Ferragamo necklace.

Kristen is wearing a Versace dress with a Donna Karan; accessorizing with Chanel cuffs, a Prada bag, and a Amy YuHsuan Chen scarf.
Theron is wearing Salvatore Ferragamo blouse and camisole with a Michael Kors skirt and Calvin Klein coat; accessories include a Nina Ricci necklace and the Calvin Klein collection boots.
Love this shot! Stewart is wearing an Emilo Pucci dress with a VBH clutch and the Chanel cuff. Theron is wearing an Yves Saint Lauren coat and belt with a Tom Ford blouse and a Salvatore Ferragamo necklace.

Met Costume Gala 2012

This year the Met Gala, hosted by Anna Wintour, was quite a success with guests such as Gwyneth, Kanye, and even Tim Tebow (who showed up in a fantastic Ralph Lauren purple label tuxedo). Everyone came in dazzling gowns with fantastic color and drape. A lot of the best dressed had gowns with particular embroideries and accessories that really made the dress look eye-popping. Most of the dresses I favored happened to have gold in it, whether it being the dominant color or it just being used as accents, it really made the dress timeless.
Here are some of my favorites from the night:
My favorite! Met Gala chairwomen, Carey Mulligan, in a Prada halter style dress with silver and gold sequins and Neil Lane jewels
2nd best for sure! Camille Belle in Ralph Lauren... a fantastically beaded dress giving it a twenties inspired look
Lana Del Rey came in a custom embroidered Joseph Altuzarra gown and cape.
Scarlett Johanson in a Dolce & Gabbana dress
Renee Zellweger in an Emilio Pucci dress
Nina Dobrev from Vampire Diaries wore a Donna Karan Atelier gown with fantastic chiffon fabric used to make a perfect drape.
January Jones from Mad Men wore Versace with a gorgeous Cartier necklace
Lily Collins from Mirror Mirror wearing a Valentino gown
Cameron Diaz in a champagne embroidered silk Stella McCartney gown
Diane Kruger in a crepe silk Prada gown with an Ostrich feather trim... I'm strangely in love with this dress
And the hottest couple award goes to...

Spring/Summer Ad Campaigns 2012

It's the time of year again when the ad campaigns slowly get leaked out and I slowly wait to see who is getting shot and where. I could not wait to see Valentino's because I knew the red dresses would be flaunted. So of course I had to put that first. Ad campaigns to me are all about the wait the models are posed. I love seeing the geometric shapes within the bodies to see how the clothes are presented. I absolutely love the Versace campaign with Gisele, the colors all work magnificently together. So here are some previews, and you know as soon as more Valentino shots get released I'll be sure to post...

Ahh I have literally been waiting for the first one! Bette Franke, Maud Welzen, Fei Fei Sun, Zuzanna Bijoch, posed for the Valentino Spring/Summer 2012 Ad campaign shot in Pozos, Mexico!
Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher in the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign
Natasha Poly and I am pretty positive that is Meghan Collison on the right for Prada Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign
Gisele Bundchen with male models Chris Moore and Simone Nobili for Ricardo Tisci's Givenchy Spring/Summer 2012 collection
Eddie Redmayne and Cara Delevingne in the Burberry Spring/Summer campaign 2012
Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw in Karl Lagerfeld's 2012 Spring designs
Gisele Bundchen, scoring more than one spring campaign, for Versace Spring/Summer 2012 campaign
 (I need those cuffs)

Paris Fashion Week - Givenchy

Givenchy's Winter Couture Collection this week was really a winter wonderland. The long flow to the white dresses and the chic nude, see-through dress were superb. Now might I say the white feathers were a little much on some of the dresses giving it almost a dove like look but who knows that may be what he was going for. Here are some of my favorite items from the 2011-2012 collection:

I wish I could show the front but it shows a little too much skin for this blog ;)
