Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart on the Cover of Interview Magazine

Interview is one of my favorite magazines to look at because of there artistic take on things. They not only focus on fashion but art, music, and culture really giving the full effect of the industry that I love so much. With the new movie Snow White and the Huntsman coming out soon the magazine featured Kristin Stewart and Charlize Theron. Sometimes I am not so in love with Stewart, but this is by far my favorite photo shoot of her and I have to say she really does look mature. Charlize Theron, of course, looks stunning in all the shots, shot by Mikael Jansson. With the actresses seeming to rule the red carpet lately, stylist Karl Templer gave them a bad-ass clothes to shoot in giving the pictures an awesome dark aura.

Stewart is wearing a gorgeous Lynn Ban necklace with RJ Graziano earrings and on Charlize is a Nina Ricci necklace... that I'm slightly obsessed with.
Kristen Stewart wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo top with a Dries Van Noten coat. The belt is Yves Saint Laurent and the clutch is Valentino.
Charlize Theron wearing a beautiful Tom Ford with Calvin Klein collection shoes; the coat in her hand is Belstaff and her ring is Lynn Ban
Kristen is wearing Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci (dress, slip, scarf, belt, gloves); the coat is Maison Martin Margiela
Charlize is wearing a Tom Ford top with a Carine Gilson slip, and the coat is gorgeous Lanvin; the clutch is Bottega Veneta with Calvin Klein collection boots
Kristen is wearing Alexander Wang jacket and pants with a Belstaff blouse and a Carine Gilson slip top; to accessorize she has a Valentino clutch and Yves Saint Laurent shoes.
Charlize is wearing Bottega Veneta with a Gucci belt with an added NY vintage buckle. To accessorize she is wearing a Yves Saint Laurent cuff and a Salvatore Ferragamo necklace.

Kristen is wearing a Versace dress with a Donna Karan; accessorizing with Chanel cuffs, a Prada bag, and a Amy YuHsuan Chen scarf.
Theron is wearing Salvatore Ferragamo blouse and camisole with a Michael Kors skirt and Calvin Klein coat; accessories include a Nina Ricci necklace and the Calvin Klein collection boots.
Love this shot! Stewart is wearing an Emilo Pucci dress with a VBH clutch and the Chanel cuff. Theron is wearing an Yves Saint Lauren coat and belt with a Tom Ford blouse and a Salvatore Ferragamo necklace.

Scarlett Johansson Takes on Vogue

With her divorce from Ryan Reynolds I saw Scarlett slowly diminish from the spotlight. Without expecting it, she is back and better than ever, even with a new romance. She is co-staring with Chris Evans in The Avengers, taking after the comic-book. She speaks of how she has grown through her divorce and different steps in her career. She is now dating Nate Naylor, and advertising creative director and is taking things slow. What makes this cover story is not the interview for me, but the pictures. She looks absolutely stunning to say the least. They dressed her in dresses of different shades of champagnes and blushes. She takes on a Marilyn Monroe look for me with the short, waved platinum hair and slight curves. From Dolce & Gabbona to Nina Ricci fashion editor, Tonne Goodman, really did a fabulous job.

Fall 2012 Ruffle Trend Debate

With fall trends flowing in after February fashion weeks, there are some I can agree with and some I definitely question; like most buys and merchandisers. One trend that was released by Women's Wear Daily were the feathers, rosettes, and ruffles seen on the runway during February. However, I found it interesting how they also released an article degrading the trend on celebrities seen in ruffles. Not to confuse you, they didn't agree or disagree with the runway trend, but I do think its interesting how critics are already critiquing the trend before the season starts.
So lets take a look at both; here are the trends from the runway from Fall 2012:
Moschino (model Cara Delevingne)
Prabal Gurung
Tory Burch (model Cara Delevingne)

Critiqued celebrity looks with what the should have worn:

Left: Elizabeth Banks in magenta, rosette accented Marc Jacob Right: Is what they said she should have worn, a drape accented Nina Ricci
Left: Avid McQueen wearer Florence Welch in a spring 2012 Alexander McQueen Right: Another Alexander McQueen in a more conservative fashion.
Left: Kourtney Kardashian in a vintage, ruffle collared dress (starting to look really pregnant!) Right: A great Chanel look-a-like minus the ruffles

So what do you think? Will the ruffles, rosettes, and feather work for fall or was it just a coincidence on the runway...
