Balenciaga Exhibition at the Musee Galliera in Paris

While over in Europe one of the many things I learned was the heritage of many high end designers. The last post I showed you was the Louis Vuitton/Marc Jacobs exhibit I went to, which honestly was my favorite. However, the Balenciaga exhibit gave me new perspective on a brand I was not as familiar with.
The exhibit was in honor of the 40th anniversary of Balenciaga's death. It showcased some of his greatest Spanish inspired pieces dating back to the late 1930's. All of the pieces were breathtaking, so be sure to stop by the Musee Galliera if you happen to be in Paris; trust me its worth it!
Once again sorry for the quality I only had by Blackberry, but here are some pieces I really enjoyed and wanted to share with you all...

Louis Vuitton/Marc Jacobs Exhibit in Paris

The week I was in Paris, we got to seeing some really amazing exhibitions. From Balenciaga to Yves Saint Laurent we saw it all. My favorite one was by far the Louis Vuitton/Marc Jacobs exhibit. It took you from 1854 to the 2012, showing you all the great creations this brand and these designers have made.
We weren't allowed to take photos inside but I was able to sneak a couple really great photos of my favorite displays and wanted to share with you all! So sorry in advance that they aren't the best quality.

Last Days Abroad in London

This past week has gone so fast and I cannot believe I'm leaving tomorrow! Although I'm so sad to leave, the time I've spent here has been unforgettable. Last weekend I went to the Swedish House Mafia concert in Milton Keyes, England and it was crazy fun. With 60,000 people there and some of my favorite DJs I had the time of my life at their last UK concert. This week I also really got to explore Hyde Park and feel in love with the atmosphere of the peaceful park. We went there three time this week and it probably is my favorite place in London. Besides being busy exploring the city I have been nonstop shopping, which will be what I miss most about London. The shopping here is never ending and you never get old of it. I practically spent my life savings in Topshop but I have gotten some really cute things.

So here are some pictures from this week, I will add more when I am back in the states. But be sure to look at my new purchases worn in the pictures:

My Days In Paris

Wow, this past week has been absolutely crazy! We arrived home from Paris last Thursday and left straight for Bath and Wales on Friday. This being why I haven't really had the time to sit down and blog. Now I am finally back in London for my final two weeks and I can't believe how fast time is flying. Of course Paris was absolutely amazing. My favorite place to be was Rue de Champs Elysees with all the high end stores and the Arc de Triomphe (which i went to the top of). For class we had guided tours of Printemps and Galeries Lafayette which are two of the biggest and oldest department stores in Paris. We learned all about their history and really just observed the environment which was so different then any other store I've ever been to. My favorite place was definitely when we went to Versilles it was breathtaking. Although we didn't get to go in palace we got to explore the gardens which is mainly what I wanted to see. We got to explore many exhibits including the Louis Vuitton/Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, and Comme des Garcons. The pictures that I took from Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton are on my phone but once I can get to those I'll be sure to post those as well.
